Below is another way one of my friend sent to me for resolving lockdown error-5:

  • Back up your  iPhone
  • Redownload 5.1.1 firmware (Restore in iTunes) and restore back to factory settings. Setup as NEW and skip inputting your Apple ID.
  • Run the Absinthe jailbreak following the instructions.
  • Restore from backup using iTunes.
  • So far I had to do that with mine along with two friends and it worked flawlessly.
  • The error appeared on all three iPhones. So I am under the assumption that the jailbreak works best when the iPhone is at “factory” state.
