Jailbreak iOS 6.0.1 & 6.1 Update
First of all I would like to clear that there is no untethered or tethered jailbreak available for iPhone 5, iPad 4, iPad Mini and iPod Touch 5g because all these devices are coming with iOS 6 out of the box therefore no question for any jailbreak for A5 and above devices for ios 6.01 jailbreak or later versions which is till now iOS 6.1 beta 4.
iOS 6.0.1 Jailbreak For Pre A5 Devices including 6.0 and 6.1 Jailbreak
There is one tethered ios 6.0.1, 6.0 and 6.1 jailbreak available which is only compatible for iPhone 4, iPhone 3gs and iPod Touch 4G, which can be achieved through redsn0w 6.0.1 jailbreak tool version 0.9.15b3. Before doing the tethered jailbreak you also need to download the ipsw firmware file for ios 6.0 which is must for doing all the jailbreaks of ios 6.0 or later i.e. up to ios 6.1 beta 4 jailbreak. Since this is a tethered ios 6 so it requires tethered booting for Cydia 6.0.1 to work each time if you reboot your device due to any reason.
Jailbreak iOS 5.1.1 and earlier versions
If your device is having iOS 5.1.1 still and you have not updated then you are a lucky man really in the current scenario because most of our visitors have already updated their iOS through OTA update and now they are finding ways to degrade but there is no way if no one has saved the shsh blobs using Cydia or sn0wbreeze etc.
iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak is compatible with all devices upto iphone 4s and you can jailbreak iPhone 4s, 4, 3gs iPod Touch 4g/3g, iPad 1/2/3 untethered if they are having iOS 5.1.1 or earlier version except ios 5.1 becuase there is no 5.1 Jailbreak available. People having 5.1 should upgrade to 5.1.1 and then they will be able to get untethered jailbreak for their device using Absinthe and redsn0w jailbreak tools.
Complete iOS Jailbreak Tutorial List
There are many iPhone, iPad and iPod users who are still having older ios versions still running on their devices and they never felt the need to update. I suggest all to update to iOS 5.1.1 because the latest untethered jailbreak that was done by using the limera1n explot is very stable and it is perfect for all devices up to iPhone 4s. You can update your device firmware in iTunes using the Shift+Update button on your iTunes for restoring your device to iOS 5.1.1 firmware which you will need to download from our firmware download page before going to the iTunes.
Warning: If you click the update button in iTunes it will update to latest iOS 6.0.1 version, for which there is no untethered jailbreak.
Once you will click the Update button while pressing and holding the Shift button the iTunes will ask you to select the firmware for which you need to restore and at that time you will select the 5.1.1 firmware file which you must have downloaded before going to iTunes.
Ok now what if you don’t want to upgrade and want to keep sticking with your current iOS, no problem just check our complete list of iOS 6.0.1, 6.1, 5.1.1 and older version jailbreak tutorial list and select the jailbreak download option for your device and your version.
