Jailbroken Toy iPhone – Legal or illegal?

The news that I have today is not related to any handset’s update or new release. I do not know if this is some of a joke or a copyright issue, but I found something and I felt like sharing it with everyone one of you. I happened to come across a toy cell phone that is actually the copy of Apple’s iPhone and the funny part is even the toy iPhone is jailbroken. One can tell that easily by looking at the Cydia icon in the bottom row of icon on the main screen.

To tell you more about this toy iPhone, its name is Telephone Intelligent and the Cydia icon is called Gift. But what so ever is this, it definitely looks jailbroken. Now we do not know that which iOS it runs and which processor it has. But it certainly looks cool. Gizmodo did not inform us with a lot of information. However, one thing is for sure that it could be easily found in dollar store, which means in almost every grocery store or toy store.

Toy iPhone

Although you all might know that this is not the first time we are coming across such a toy. We previously informed you of a similar toy like this one, almost a year ago. Well I do not know why this toy maker likes making jailbroken iPhones, maybe this is the trend there. Almost 20% of the evasi0n traffic is from China and China make 90%of the toys. You think this toy iPhone was manufactured there too?

I do not know if making toy iPhone with Cydia icons, jailbroken, is illegal or not, but certainly is not good as in my opinion, this does not give a nice message to children. Who knows maybe when they grow up they want their iPhones to be jailbroken too.

What are your thoughts about this?
