Today Dev Team has released the latest version of RedSn0w that is 0.9.11b1.  All of us know that RedSn0w is the most famous jailbreak software, but in the latest RedSn0w dev team has provided some new features in addition to 5.1 jailbreak. The new RedSnow in addition to jailbreak 5.1 is supporting the restore including iPad 2, iPad3 and iPhone 4s. As mentioned on the official blog :

Update: RedSn0w 0.9.11b2 has been released, the new version 0.9.11b2 now supports the second “9A406″ version of 5.0.1 for iPhone4S

“Starting with redsn0w version 0.9.11b1, those with newer devices (iPad2, iPad3, and iPhone4S) can join the downgrade fun too!  In a radical departure from previous versions of redsn0w, it now directly supports restoring IPSWs to your device.  The first use of this new feature implements a hack that allows A5 downgrades without a bootrom-level exploit.”

Some of the latest features of the new RedSn0w 0.9.11b1 are mentioned on the official blog I suggest all of you to visit that site and read all features carefully if you need to use the redsn0w for the new extra features i.e. downgrading to 5.0.1 and restoring using Redsn0w 0.9.11b1.
