New Cydia tweaks are released every other day and we often get confused which one to install. Some tweaks are good to install while others are not just worth it. I ran across a new Cydia tweak known as TopLabels. It doesn’t offer anything extraordinary but it will be interesting for some people. As the name says, the new TopLabels Cydia tweak allows the user to move the application labels on their iOS devices from the bottom of the app icons to the top! hence sparing more space on springboard giving more delicate look.
However, you’re not used to labels being at the top so it’ll take some time before you can adjust to the different positions of the labels, that is, after the installation of the tweak. Though the tweak does exactly what it says, there have been cases that the labels present in the device were hard to read out. However, this problem also depended on the design of the icon itself. Many of you may not like the idea to move the labels at the top as the native positioning is a good one. However, some of you may be willing to give it a try.
The tweak is useful for some themes and for those users who like to have their background image to be shown and be more prominent. You should note that after installing the tweak, there will be no options to configure, and the tweak has to be uninstalled from the device to be disabled.
If you have an interest in the TopLabels Cydia Tweak, you can get it from Cydia’s BigBoss repo free of cost.
