If you are willing to jailbreak iOS 6.1 untethered using the most waited iOS 6.1 jailbreak you should read this carefully. As mentioned by MuscleNerd in his tweet one should not update to 6.1 using the OTA option i.e. through Settings => General => Software Update because this creates a different shsh blobs then the one created through updating using the iTunes restore option. Therefore if you have already updated using OTA there might be possibility of any complication in future regarding the iOS 6.1 jailbreak or saving your shsh blobs for jailbroken iOS 6.1 files.

As a common iphone or iOS user you may not understand the purposes and use of these terms like shsh blobs and OTA but you should keep visiting our blog for updates and knowing about iPhone 5 jailbreak downloads and tutorials. As already hinted by MuscleNerd the untethered ios 6.1 jailbreak might be released on SuperBowlSunday which is coming sunday.

If you have not yet updated to iOS 6.1 better to wait until we get the final 6.1 jailbreak download and confirm the compatibility with all devices, then you can update using iTunes. We don’t know which tool will be released i.e. will it be Absinthe 6.1 Jailbreak or RedSn0w 6.1 Jailbreak lets wait and see any new tweet, hint or rumor about the next untethered iOS 6.1 jailbreak tool/software.
